Sounds like my luck. Opened 20 gifts so far and all, and I mean ALL, I have received is nothing but blue scrolls and superior ID. Believe you me, I was pretty frustrated about that.

I took 6 characters today through every dialogue, did Trial of Zinn, and did a Scavenger Hunt for every one of those 6 characters. Did the bounty on every single one of them on HM and my reward?

Blue scrolls for every gift I got.

This really drives me insane seeing as you go through so much work to get a worthless reward in the end. From now on, I'm just selling these things and use that money to buy the minis I want. It's pointless for me to open these anymore if this is the reward they feel is suitable after all the hard work you just put in to get them.

I mean, the gifts I get from the Paper Parcels from doing the Scavenger Hunt are better than what I get from a Royal Gift. That is wrong.

I'm thinking that until we learn what the medal of honor is for, I will hold onto war supplies and not get gifts. If the medal turns out to be something not needed, then I will cash in all supplies at once for royal gift.

ditto....got 2 more gifts--another useless blue xp scroll and well well well...something useful, A LOCKPICK....

It would nice if they could just axe the XP scrolls and make the alcohol and sweets a bit more prevalent. Also, there should be a party item of some kind; shouldn't we be celebrating Salma's ascension to the throne?

Lol 1 of my guild mates exchanged 25 war supplies in the first hour they were available because he assumed it was something prestigious then he logs back on a few hours later to me telling him I already have 5.

Yeah I wonder if they are for getting new stuff in the game, the new gemstones kinda way. But then again they are pretty easy to get, for now that is.

Why are YOU wasting your stuff on medals? There's no telling what they're for, you'll get them from Royal Gifts anyway, and Royal Gifts also have a chance of a rare mini.

There is, at least you can go and look what got added into the gw.dat file and compare it with what is already available.

The only thing missing out are the new white mantle weapons.
So that seems like a pretty good bet.
